College English Curriculum Reform in the Concept of Modern University Teaching and Research

Undergraduate level of English is generally not high, which is China's English teaching in the time and effort invested is not proportional. The current education system and teaching methods have some problems, so English is imperative. Request of the Ministry of Education to implement the college English teaching reform issued its "College English Curriculum Requirements", not only to help students lay the foundation of English language, you should also focus on developing students' listening and speaking ability, students can not write, but would not say that this is a modern undergraduate dumb English teaching to avoid. In this article, we explore college English curriculum model reform, the author analyzes the English undergraduate teaching problems and causes of these problems, and then gives college English teaching reform strategies, and finally make a summary.
