摘要
Proteins are important molecules that perform a diversity of functions in the biological system. In terms of the analysis of the innate structure of the protein sequence, a novel 2D graphical representation of protein sequences is proposed in this paper on the basis of the statistical and physicochemical properties of protein sequences. And then, a new numerical characterization of graphical curve which facilitates quantitative comparisons of protein sequences is given to analyze the similarity/dissimilarity of the nine ND5 protein sequences.
