摘要
Stress corrosion cracking (SCC) of a API X-60 pipeline steel in a soil containing 33% water has been investigated using slow strain rate tests and sustained load test of single-edge cracked sample. The results showed that a transgranular SCC in the soil occurred when epsilon < 3.5 x 10(-7) s(-1), and the susceptibility to SCC was about 30%. SCC of the cracked sample in the soil at sustained load could also occur, and the threshold stress intensity factor of SCC was K-ISCC= 0.73K(C). (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
