摘要
Growth of Indian textile industry has resulted in increased CO2 emission and other related pollution. In this study, CO2 emission front Indian textile sector (SMI) has been estimated based on Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) guidelines. CO2 reduction options proposed in this research work are operation and maintenance, technology and fuel replacement. Reduction potentials are estimated based on implementation of these strategies.
