An empirical study of relationship between surpluses of processing trade and economic growth in China: based on the data of 1995-2010

摘要：

These cointegration analyses were used to test the impact of processing trade on China's economic growth based on the data of GDP and amount of import and export in processing trade in the period of 1995-2010. It was found that the surpluses of processing trade boosted the economic growth, and was the Granger's cause for the GDP growth; but the surpluses of processing trade contributed less to the long-term economic growth. It was suggested that upgrading of processing trade should be quickened.
