RESEARCH ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND ECONOMIC GROWTH IN CHINA BASED ON BIG DATA

After a short period of stagnation in the Chinese economy, how to achieve the dynamic and coordinated development of regional economic growth and energy consumption is a key issue for China to continue to promote the construction of ecological civilization and achieve green and sustainable development. The problem of energy shortage is becoming increasingly prominent, energy consumption and the economy The relationship between growth has always been a hot issue. This paper selects indicators such as energy consumption and economic growth from 2002 to 2019 to establish a regression model. The results show that: energy consumption and economic growth have a two-way causal relationship; energy consumption and economic growth are mutually important factors. China's energy consumption is positively correlated with economic growth. There is a close relationship between energy consumption and economic growth. If energy consumption decreases, GDP will also decrease. Finally, policies and suggestions to promote the coordinated development of energy consumption and economic growth are put forward.
