In this study, the relationship between active aging policies and the increase in compatibility between the receipt of a retirement pension and the performance of a professional activity is analyzed in general terms. In particular, reference is made to the main strategies and actions that are being implemented in Spain with an impact on the work that can be developed by retirement pensioners, mainly in relation to those included in the National Elderly Strategy Project for their Active Aging and for its Good Treatment 2018-2021. Thus, an outline of the possible application is made that the measures foreseen in its line of action called "Improve the work of the elderly and lengthen their working lives" may have in the development of their professional activities.
