摘要
The influence of safety management on a construction project is complex and important, including interest loss of stakeholders, delays in project duration and cost overruns. So a number of safety improvements measures have been taken to migrate the poor safety records in the construction industry. As there are existing a variety of safety rules and regulations, it is not easy to compare and analyze the safety performance among different construction projects. This study tries to evaluate safety performance with the consideration of various decision criteria. The entropy method can help us effectively solve the problem though decomposing the safety performance evaluation system into several subsystems, such as site management, civilization operation, scaffold, tower crane. According to the score checklist of Standard of Construction Safety Inspection in China, every safety subsystem gets corresponding scores, then each construction project will be positioned based on their safety performance. Outcome shows that the method is suitable for the appraisal of complex construction project problems.
