摘要：

Under the suitable assumptions, we provide a moderate deviation result for the symmetry testing statistic defined sup S-x is an element of(d-1) vertical bar f(n)(x) - f(n) (-x)vertical bar where fn is the kernel density estimator for directional data and Sd-1 is the d-dimensional unit sphere.
