摘要
This article discusses the various in vitro and in vivo models used to investigate the pharmacodynamics of antibiotic action and relates this to clinical use of antibiotics. The dosing of beta-lactams is discussed in detail, particularly in relation to the method dependence of the various models of post antibiotic effect (PAE) and the different morphological farms that are produced by different beta-lactams.
