摘要
Distributed Measurement and Control (DMC) is a current trend in instrumentation systems. In order to enable this kind of systems, smart sensors have to be developed. This paper presents a system for interfacing and controlling a general set of sensors and actuators, making them smart ones. This system is IEEE 1451 compatible and has been developed completely in a hardware description language, enabling a System-on-Chip implementation of the full system.
