摘要
For the stability, dependability, and security of the power system, reactive power must be adequately monitored and managed. Reactive power dispatch is a difficult mixed integer and nonlinear problem that is essential for maintaining safe voltage levels and increasing system efficiency. To lower transmission line losses and load bus voltage variations, reactive power dispatch controls the positions of transformers load tap changers, capacitors reactive power injection, and the voltages of slack buses and PV buses. The Optimal Reactive Power Dispatch (ORPD) problem has been solved in this paper using a novel meta-heuristic approach known as the Honey Badger Algorithm (HBA). Utilizing the IEEE 30-bus system, the applied single-objective deterministic ORPD approach is evaluated and contrasted with previously published research articles for the reduction of voltage deviation and power loss.
