摘要
Aircraft target is an important military target. It is a significant task that extracting the Aircraft target quickly and effectively from SAR images. The feature extraction is one of the key steps for SAR ATR. It can effectively reduce the dimensions of data space. Thus, SAR images can be interpreted quickly and accurately. Because of the complexity of the contour and the imaging characteristics of the aircraft, the target feature extraction is difficultthere are few literatures related to the research at home and abroad. A method of feature extraction for aircraft target is proposed in this paper. Firstly, we construct an initial contour model by using the prior knowledge of aircraft targets. Then use the contour model to automatically fit the target area to be measured. Finally, the parameters of the optimal solution of the model are the characteristic value of the aircraft target to be measured.
