摘要
This paper considers the adequacy of household survey data from developing countries. First, we propose a definition of ''adequacy.'' Second, we use this definition to review recent progress in household surveys and to speculate about future progress. We conclude by suggesting some implications of the current situation for data collectors, policymakers, and researchers.
