摘要
The aim of the study was to estimate the level of Ig G(1), Ig G(2) and IgM in colostrum and calves' serum obtained just following after parturition and 48 hours and 4 weeks of life. The study was carried out on a large commercial dairy farm over the period of a year and examined 100 calves and their mothers. The investigated colostrums were examined for specific gravity and IgG(1), IgG(2), and IgM levels were estimated in colostrums and calves' serums using the ELISA test. The specific gravity of the investigated colostrums was 1.032-1.061 and the total immunoglobulin level was 23.8-68.6 g/l. The total immunoglobulin level in calves serum obtained on the second day of life was lower than 5 g/l in 25% of the investigated calves, and higher than 15.1 g/l in 31% of the calves.
