摘要
In the absence of an applied magnetic field, a spin-torque nano-oscillator with a tilted polarizer is studied using numerical simulations of the associated Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert-Slonczewski equation. We find considerable enhancement of frequencies by tilting the polarizer out-of-plane appropriately. Also, we observe improved tunability of frequencies of oscillations from similar to 15 mml:mspace width=".1em"mml:mspace> GHz to similar to 75 mml:mspace width=".1em"mml:mspace GHz and increments in the power spectral density by current and tilt angles. In addition, our findings and insights pave a simple way for implementation of nanoscale level microwave generators.
