摘要
Monitoring the engine oil condition in automobiles allows increased oil drain intervals adapted to the actual condition of the engine oil. This yields both, ecological as well economic advantages. Furthermore the engine oil condition provides insight into the actual state of the engine and thus supports the early detection of engine failures. In this contribution we present a multifunctional oil condition sensor suitable for the incorporation in an engine oil monitoring system.
