摘要
This article describes and analyzes, from a qualitative approach, first-date scenes in cis heterosexual women and men, adults between 35 and 50 years old, residing in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (AMBA), Argentina, in the present (2015-2017). For that aim, I explore the heteronormative and romantic social scripts that guide the interactions, consumptions and expectations that appear, according to the gender of the actors. The scenarios of the dates are crossed by activities and objects that imply a hedonistic consumption. In the dates, women and men from middle class try to locate themselves in what lasts that encounter, marked by the consumption and the search of wellbeing, over their own social position.
