摘要
In this paper, a new multi-purpose switched reluctance machine drive with charging capabilities is introduced. This topology satisfies propulsion requirements and allows single phase as well as threephase AC charging. In charging mode, the machine windings are used as inductors and the zero torque condition is maintained by canceling out all tangential forces. Every component of the SRM drive is used during charging and no additional components are needed. The proposed topology is theoretically analyzed, and its validity is verified by simulation software.
