摘要
We propose to develop semiconductor-metallic hybrid devices by placing metallic nanoparticles in the vincinity of nanowires, as pictured in Fig. 56+1. Acting as plasmonic nanoantennas they strongly couple to the local electromagnetic field and allow us to control their emission properties, e.g. enhancement of radiative decay rate and tunability/modification of the radiation diagram [3, 4]. We present here results and on-going experiments in the parallel studies of such nanowires and nanoantennas.
