摘要
The article argues that it is necessary to use additional means besides e-learning management systems in order to engage seniors in an active use of the web as a resource for their self-governed, collaborative and self-realization activities. An approach to use of social software for pedagogical reasons as well as for seniors socialization is presented and discussed within this article. It is suggested that different kinds of social networks created by using a social software support constructivist e-learning methodology, the processes of self-governed learning and becoming involved in the information and knowledge society. Further, the Socrates program project "eLearning Academy for Seniors" is presented. The social software is planned to be used in order to achieve its didactic and pedagogic aims.
