摘要
The effects of the addition of promoter into the Fe2O3/Al2O3 catalyst on the styrene formation from the dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene in the presence Of CO2 were observed. On the addition of alkali earth metal oxides, the order of their effectivenesses were Ba > Sr(equal sign with dot above and below)Ca > none > Mg at initial stage of the reaction (25 min), and, even after 6 hours, the promoting effects of Ba and Sr were observed. As metal oxides other than alkali earth metals, Cr and Zr oxides were also effective.
