摘要：

In this study, the Aldol condensation between benzofuran-3(2H)-ones and ketones or aldehydes mediated by alumina was developed. This simple protocol facilitated the synthesis of various 2-(2-hydroxypropan-2-yl)benzofuran-3(2H)-ones in moderate-to-high yields under mild conditions. (C) 2016 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
