摘要：
In this paper, the Gilson-Pickering equation is studied by using the sine-cosine method and the tanh method. Some exact travelling wave solutions of the Gilson-Pickering equation are obtained. Moreover, we make numerical simulation for the new solitary patterns solutions and compactons solutions.
