摘要
Supply chains are becoming increasingly complex and therefore exposed to risk during processes. To predict and minimize possible impacts caused by these risks, organizations opt for risk management. This study aimed to evaluate the influence of risk management dimensions on supply chains of medium and large companies in the state of Santa Catarina on operational performance. Through literature review, risk dimensions were defined as: external environments, infrastructure, resources, innovation and processes, demand, supplies, structure and configuration, information flow/decision support and people. The research was conducted in a universe of 250 companies, where it was possible to obtain 85 answers. It was observed that, from the point of view of the survey respondents, the dimensions of the risks are important and relevant, which shows the concern of companies with possible impacts caused by the lack of this management. With statistical analyses, it was found that, although of great importance, the dimensions of risk management do not have significant impacts on operational performance.
