摘要：
The preparation and the crystal structure of the title compound are described. C(6)H(5)CH[NHCOOC(CH(3))(3)]CH(2)OH is monoclinic with the following unit-cell dimensions: a = 10.354(2), b = 6.533(3), c = 10.505(1) Angstrom, beta = 38.58(1)degrees. The space group is P2(1) and Z = 2. The crystal-structure determination was run by using 1481 independent reflexions with a final R value of 0.033 (R(w) = 0.043).
