摘要
In this paper tuning a proportional-integral-derivative controller (PID or three-term controller) to improve the efficiency of the electric vehicles (EVs) in the suspension system is implemented. Initially, the mathematical modelling of the suspension system is developed. This is simulated as an open loop system to obtain the suspension effect and the movement of the vehicle. A PID controller is introduced in the system to improve the efficiency of the system. Tuning is done using optimization techniques to identify the values of proportional, integral and derivative constants to reduce the displacement of the suspension system.
