Teacher Training Research of Teachers Teaching Development Based on the Newly Built Undergraduate Colleges and Universities

Teachers' teaching ability of engineering is one of the important contents of the undergraduate teaching project. In teachers of newly built undergraduate colleges and universities, young teachers occupy the main body. They must strengthen the training of young teachers and promoting teachers' teaching development so as to improve the quality of talent cultivation. With the arrival of the knowledge society, higher education is playing more and more important role in social development, and carrying more hopes and expectations; meanwhile, there is growing concern on the quality of higher education. The development of college teachers, as the key element of ensuring the quality of higher education, gains much more attention than ever before. It is a multidimensional process including developments in teachers' own competence, professions and teaching, in which the development of teaching the enhancing of teachers' teaching ability, is the core of the college teachers' development. In "About the implementation of the review and approve in the principles of teaching quality and reform project of the undergraduate teaching of colleges and universities", which was issued by Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance, enhancing teachers' teaching ability is included in the five key construction contents of undergraduate teaching. Only a long-term effective mechanism of improving teachers' teaching ability is established, the teachers' needs for developing teaching are met, and teachers are encouraged to be excellent, can a newly built undergraduate college or university improve its teaching quality and promote the scientific development of education.
