EMOTIONAL intelligence is a new buzzword in business - but what is it and why might it be important in veterinary practice? In this article, Christine Stobbs explains that a high IQ needs to be complemented by a high 'EQ' - that is, a high level of emotional intelligence - to enable veterinary surgeons to get the best out of themselves and those around them.
