摘要
The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of SMEs of Ship Component's current business model, describing Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats based on the canvas business model and providing input on corrective action for the company. The research method is done with the business model approach of canvas, benchmarking analysis and SWOT analysis to form an alternative strategy. The result of this research is the improvement of the business model on nine elements of the Business Model Canvas and there are seven main improvement programs for the company as follows: Establishing new customer segmentation, cooperation with Indonesia Ship Components Industry Association, business partner and supplier of raw materials, forming subsection of research and development as well as recruiting potential human resources.
