摘要：
The objective of the paper is to evaluate the attitude of small and medium-sized enterprises in a selected region to the innovative research and to get their statement to the project calls and subsidies. The method of opinion poll within chosen SMEs working in the Brno city in the field of applied research and innovation was realised. It was proved that companies in Brno city are informed about supportive projects. However, a high percentage of companiesdon ' t use these projects for various reasons, as the main reasons bureaucracy and time needed for paper work connected with the application of support can be mentioned.
