摘要：
An efficient method for the conversion of alkyl aryl ketones to aromatic carboxylic acids has been developed based on initial formation of alpha -organosulfonyloxy ketones and their subsequent oxidation reactions by tetrabutylammonium periodate in one-pot conditions.
