摘要
Within the research project FIDET, imaging-sonars have been used at the trash rack of a large hydro-power plant in operation mode (catchment area 9 310 km(2), MQ = 293 m(3)/s, MJHQ = 1 187 m(3)/s) in the River Inn (Tyrol, Austria). Temporal and spatial-distributions of fishes were assessed with respect to flow rates and turbulence close to the rack. The results provide useful information on future actions to assist fish protection and downstream migration at the site. They also form the basis for further developments of existing sonar-based automatic detection and control systems to assist and monitor fish protection operations in real-time.
