Magnetic properties (magnetostricition and hysteresis loops) and giant magnetoimpedance (GMI) are investigated in CoFeSiB amorphous glass-covered microwires Joule-heated with or without axial applied stress. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
