Magnetic behavior of nearly zero magnetostrictive CoFeSiB amorphous glass-covered wires with Cr addition

摘要
We study the effect of Cr addition on the magnetic behavior of amorphous glass-covered wires of the Co-Fe-Si-B allay system. Cr addition changes the sign of the magnetostriction constant, leading to the appearance of a bistable magnetic behavior of CoFeCrSiB amorphous glass-covered wires, behavior that is maintained even if the glass cover is removed. The results are explained in terms of the basic interactions that determine the domain structure formation.
