Design of Fuzzy Controller with Linear Extended State Observer for Magnetic Suspension Bearings

摘要
A high performance controller for magnetic suspension bearings is investigated. To improve the robustness of the controller and the suspension accuracy of the system, a fuzzy controller is designed using variable bandwidth triangle membership function. Considering the poor static-state performance of traditional fuzzy controllers, an additional linear extended state observer is introduced, which is used to supply differential and disturbance compensation signals to the fuzzy controller. The proposed controller is easy to design, and the parameters are easy to set. Lastly, simulation results verify that the controller has the abilities of fine static and dynamic performance, robustness and disturbance rejection.
