Issues on the discrete implementation of frequency domain controller design

摘要
This paper discusses the issues pertaining to the discrete implementation of continuous frequency domain control design. The effect using an approximation of a delay term is discussed in conjunction with the phase error associated with the transformation of continuous controller to its discrete counterpart. A direct discrete frequency domain design method based on loop shaping is presented as a technique to avoid the phase errors that occur with continuous-to-discrete transformations.
