摘要
In this paper, we firstly suggested six indicators to form a vulnerability indicator system for assessing the socio-economic vulnerability to typhoon storm surge. Then, we suggested a fuzzy method to integrate these socio-economic indicators to represent the vulnerability of a system. This is a combination of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and the Delphi method. At last, the socio-economic vulnerability to typhoon storm surge risk of cities in Guangdong province, China, was illustrated as a case study.
