Changes and Challenges Brought by the Flipped Classroom

This paper explains the changes and challenges brought by the flipped classroom. A successful flipped classroom will make the students' learning process more smoothly and efficiently through students' observation and thinking process with the appropriate pace of learning controlled by themselves and their enthusiasm aroused by the exploration of the knowledge world. Teachers' roles have been changed dramatically because of the new teaching characteristics. New teaching evaluation mode is implemented based on the student-centered activities. The network environment and learning conditions are also required to support the success of the flipped classroom. This new way of teaching will benefit students greatly when it's conducted successfully.
