摘要：
By the methods of documenary review, expert interview, questionnaire investigation, class observation, etc. this paper investigated the application situation about basketball teaching method in parts of sports colleges and universities so as to optimization of basketball teaching methods and improve basketball teaching effectiveness. The results showed that regular teaching method was still the main method in basketball teaching course in current stage. The applying tendency o f modern teaching method showed more and more frequent but its extensive use was influenced by subjective and objective conditions to certain limitations, so that it need to change the teachers'concept, improve the overall quality of teacher s and optimize the combination of teaching methods to promote modern teaching methods widely used in basketball class.
