摘要：

The cyclic aza-ylides, 2a, b, that are generated from 6- or 5-membered cyclic amino phosphonium salts, 1a, b, can react with various carbonyl compounds. The acyclic imine derivatives were obtained by the reaction of these cyclic aza-ylides with benzils, and these imine derivatives were treated with LDA to produce the tetrahydropyridine or tetrahydroazepine derivatives.
