Torque Ripple Minimization in a BLDC Motor Using an Improved Voltage Control Method

摘要
This paper deals with reduction of torque ripple in a BLDC motor. A defection of a previously proposed voltage control method is surveyed and a new method improving the defection is proposed. In the method cogging torque component is additionally reduced by controlling the input voltage. The proposed method is analytically deduced and a given analysis model is investigated by FE analysis. From the results it is shown that by the proposed method the torque ripple is decrease by 20%, comparing that in the previous method.
