摘要
In this paper, a new network topology is introduced using various converters for the control of DC link voltage to minimize the torque ripple in a BLDC motor drive system, based on equal rate of rise and fall of the inverter output currents. This principle is implemented using alternate converter topologies viz SEPIC converter or Z-source converter at the front end of the six-pulse inverter. Both the converters are capable of regulating the DC link voltage over a considerable range so as to control the motor speed in a closed manner Simulation of entire drive system in MATLAB/SIMULINK platform covering both the converter configurations are presented and compared. The simulation results show substantial reduction in torque ripple at the load side when SEPIC converter is employed. (C) 2017 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
