摘要
This research was carried out on the study of SOFCs working with hydrogen (H-2) and dry methane (CH4) fuels with a cermet anode of nickel (Ni)/fluorite type material as Gadolinium doped ceria (GDC) and Samarium doped ceria (SDC) to compare with Ni/Yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) anode at 900 degrees C. We observed that the performances with Ni/GDC and Ni/SDC anodes obtained with H-2 and dry CH4 were better than those obtained with Ni/YSZ anode. After degradation tests, the SOFC with Ni/GDC anode conserved high performances, while Ni/YSZ anode was degraded. The degradation of the SOFCs in dry CH4 fuel was accelerated by the interruption of the current. Thus, Nil doped ceria anodes had similar behaviour and could be suitable candidates as anodes in SOFC with dry CH4 fuel.
