摘要
This study examines the factors that impact learners' satisfaction with web-based assessment platforms designed by publishers. The research model investigates the intermediate role of autonomy and competency from the self-determination theory. The data are collected from 324 undergraduate business students in a mid-western U.S. institution who used McGraw-Hill Connect. The hypotheses were tested and validated using PLS-SEM analytical procedures. The results show that competency, autonomy, perceived quality, and feedback have direct impact on learners' satisfaction. Self-efficacy, quality, and feedback are antecedents to competency and autonomy. Competency is a full mediator between self-efficacy and satisfaction. The results and their implications are discussed.
