NdMo7.7O14 containing Mo6, Mo7 and Mo8 clusters

摘要
Neodymium molybdenum oxide, NdMo7.7O14, crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Aba2. Its crystal structure derives from the NdMo8O14 type which contains bicapped octahedral Mo-8 clusters. Because of the non-stoichiometry on the capping Mo sites and the absence of satellite reflections, Mo-6, Mo-7 and Mo-8 clusters are expected to co-exist randomly.
