摘要
The contribution deals with the analysis of social intelligence in relation to employees's positive and negative emotional states of mind, namely the analysis of correlations among the components of social intelligence (manipulation, empathy and social irritability), positive emotions and unemotional states (pleasure, physical freshness, joy, happiness) and negative emotions and unemotional states (anger, guilt, shame, fear, pain, joy, sadness). The research sample consisted of 103 executives employees in Presov region (52 women and 51 men). For research purposes were used two methodologies, namely methodology MESI by Frankovsky and Birknerova (2014) to detect the level of social intelligence and methodology SEHP by Dzuka and Dalbert (2002) to detect positive and negative emotions with their unemotional conditions. Using Pearson correlation coefficients was found statistically significant correlation between enjoyment, shame, joy and happiness. Empathy significantly correlated with positive emotions and unemotional states. Social irritability significantly correlated with anger, feelings of guilt, shame, physical vigor, pain and pleasure.
