摘要
The oxidation of ethylene glycol was investigated on platinum doped polyaniline electrodes. It is found that polyaniline films can be used as a convenient conducting substrate for the electrooxidation of ethylene glycol. Optimum experimental conditions for the preparation of the catalytic system are determined. Current densities obtained with modified polyaniline electrodes for the oxidation of ethylene glycol in acidic media are comparable to those on bulls platinum. It is found that the polyaniline film thickness has no effect on the kinetics of the ethylene glycol oxidation reaction. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
