摘要
A new indole-based biphenyldiamine derivative was synthesized, characterized and a Hg(II) cations sensing application was performed. Within the possible competing cations, our probe gives a selective fluorescence-quenching response towards Hg(II) cation. The limit of detection was found as 169 nM. Time dependent-DFT calculation was also performed to understand the sensing mechanism.
