摘要
Tools on pebbles are not very frequent during Middle Palaeolithic. The three caves which are studied (Orgnac 3, Payre and Maras) show very clear choices in the picking up of the types and the shapes of the stones. The way to prepare the tools is simple, on very big pebbles. These kinds of tools seem to show a specialization, according to the purposes. They are a little part of all the tools which, above all, are on flakes. The cores are very different from the tools on pebbles. The comparison with sites of Lower Palaeolithic is made, like with others Middle Palaeolithic caves from others countries of France.
